Do not underestimate the power of a word!

Ba3do al kalimato nour wa ba3douha koubour…

The above saying means that some words may shed light and some may be as bad as death..

Prophet Muhammed offered much advice regarding the utterances of words and what they may lead to. I find it so strange how some people fail to realize that.

Some people underestimate what words may do to people. I find that some people's realization depends and shows how deep the person is.

I know some people whose entire lives have changed drastically because of words. Mine has in so many ways throughout different stages of my life.

Some words made my life easier and some more difficult and brought sadness and pain to my heart, soul and even body! I get affected physically from stress or sadness! And I know many people do as well. The psychological aspect of the human mind is very much connected to the physiological, well at least where I'm concerned it is!

Now, I am receiving so many words from all sorts of people. Many of which are very saddening and harsh. But thank God, many others so full of love, care and tenderness. Here on the blogo-sphere, so far all the words I have been receiving lately have been blissful.

I can easily say, very supportive in the midst of lots of pain I am going through. I like to rise above difficulties, I really do not like giving in easily, but I sometimes fall for a while, which is alright. But I like to pick up where I fell and continue. Life must go on. I solace myself by remembering those who have no one to talk to, and especially those who are unable to communicate with God.

Best talking I honestly do is that with God. I do love Him dearly, and I wish I meet His expectations. I am weak as any other human, but I am really struggling and trying to maintain my connection and keep my faith intact.

People, I have grown to love each one of you so much. You have all made a great difference in my life. I feel God joined me with you as a sign of solace from Him in the midst of what I have gone through and still going through just to tell me that there are many good and lovely hearts out there and that they are not so far away!

Please, never under estimate what kind words can offer a person in despair, not just to me, but to anyone in need. A kind word may do wonders in people's lives. Words can help one to really get through so much.

All due thanks to Allah, and to your lovely words!

You are so right about this.

I hope every one of us think first before uttering a word. As a word can light u your life while another can distroy it totally.

i really do not understand begad why some people do not realize that! And worst of all i still cannot understand how it can come from the closest people to us? And why? Is life so long for that to happen? No. We do not know when we shall die, and what is funny is when the person doing the other wrong loses the person being done wrong they feel sorrow and regret. But i guess time then is too late.

Ya rab erzokna kawl al kalima al tayeba wa rad el isa2a bel ma3rouf, wal sabr 3ala atha el nas, werzokna al hikma wal maw3etha al hasna, waj3alna min man yakouloun al qawl faya3malouna a7sanah! Ameen ameen ameen

GOD bless us with words of kindness and wisdom, and returning wrong doing with goodness and grant us patience over wrong doings inflicted by others, grant us the capability of offering wisdom and good advise and bless us and make us not mere speakers of goodness and wisdom, but rather bless us to be amongst those who truely apply what we speak of in terms of wisdom and goodness. Amen amen amen

I wish you all of the best. The Prophet of Allah(PBUH) once stated that even a smile can be considered charity.

Abu Sinan,
yes a smile is considered charity, a gesture of kindness also.. Any thing to make someone happy definitely meets God's satisfaction and blessing. But how many people do what we are all speaking about here? Allah yahdeena all.

Muslim mama, there is a verse Doshar reminded me of once for purposes of baraka for the family, to say it in form of duaa, Rabana hab lana min azwajina wa zoureyatina korata a'ayoun waj3alna lil motakeena immama. Ameen
try that. and also say Allahoma ifta7 bayni wa bayn ---- (anyone whom u might be facing problems with and are unable to communicate with, name them that is) bel hakk.

We have nothing but patience and to maintain good attitude as best as we can. I do know for fact it still does not get through to the other person what kind of effort we put to maintain that, but we know that God knows and that should help us all. I myself sometimes go through so much pain and anguish because of that, but what can i say, Allaho Al musta3aan... I and you and we all seek God's blessings and ask him to give us patience. Ameen.

If we look at the world today, the tribulations, the trials, and every war that we have, we will see that every bit of human suffering is rooted in human hearts. The reason people are aggressive against other people is due to diseases of the heart: covetousness, the desire to conquer, the desire to exploit other people, and the desire to steal their natural resources are all from diseases of the heart. A sound heart cannot commit such acts. Every murderer, every rapist, every idolater, every fowl person, every person showing an act of cruelty has a diseased heart because these actions emanate from diseased hearts. If the hearts were sound, none of these actions would be a reality. Therefore, if we wish to change our world, we cannot go about it by attempting to rectify the outward; rather, we change the world by rectifying the inward because it is the inward that precedes the outward.
Allah subhana wa ta'ala has created man, and in this man He has placed the nafs. From time to time the nafs of person leads him to commit sins. Every time a person commits a sin he should seek Allah's forgiveness and should not get upset or disillusioned with himself and say "I don't think I can fight my desires, so I shall not even bother." This is what Shaytan likes to hear and it is thoughts like this that eventually take .
On the other hand when a person turns sincerely to Allah in repentance, regretting his actions, Allah subhana wa ta'ala forgives all of his sins. It is for this reason that a person should continue to do as many good deeds as he possibly can.

There is no peace in disobedience to Allah . We may collect all the wealth of the world but we will not find peace in that.Look the people of the world (those who make effort only for wealth and position ) . They have unlimited wealth, the best education possible and all door to pleasure wide open. Inspite of that they need tranquilisers and sleeping pills to find some rest . They lack peace of heart . They cannot sleep because peace cannot be found in sin and disobedience . Peace lies only in the obedience of Allah and His messenger (s) .Allah give peace only to those who love Him , whose heart remember Him.Although they live a life of worry ,their hearts are at peace . They may face poverty and want but their hearts are content and comfortable . If we wish to have comfort in this world then we will have to give up disobedience and sin .
Look at the 'Ni'mats (bounties) which Allah Ta'ala has bestowed upon us. There can be no price tag attached to any one of them. Our speech, sight, hearing, intelligence, etc. are invaluable gifts. Develop the love of Allah Ta'ala by pondering over these gifts bestowed upon us, without our deserving them and increase the Love of Allah Ta'ala until in everything the Qudrat of Allah is seen.

To get Deen and love to obey Allah and His Rasul (s) , we must have conviction for Allah in our heart .For this we must spent sometime everyday . Think about the greatness of Allah and talk about Allah ,That He can do Everything. Our life and death, our effort ,our study , our sustenance ,all things depend on Allah only. Everyday spent sometimes in the Zikr of Allah and don`t miss any salat. And also spent sometime to make du`a to Allah , ask Him all your needs , depends only on Him. Nobody can do any benefit or any harm without His permission
Most of the love and friendship expressed these days is nothing but politics and diplomacy, cheat, deceit and hypocrisy. Befriend a person for the Pleasure of Allah and for the sake of Deen. This friendship, which is not for material benefit, will not only last until Death, but will even continue into Jannat (Paradise).

People sometimes just use words in vain and they forget how powerful a word can be.
I’m now learning how to listen to my heart’s word. It’s bizarre how it’s hard sometimes.

me,
glad i made your day sweetie, I too share the same feelings about the hadeeth... Beautiful.

anonymous,
nice of u to visit my blog, but i am sorry i did not understand what u meant about grateful? Who is grateful? you? me? and why? now, the 3 is for the ein (example: 3ein - ein - eye)in arabic and the 7 is for the ha (example: 7asaba - hasaba - calucualted).. I hope i clarified it for u :-)

Ihsan,
you got all that right. May God help us to maintain good morals and ethics according to what religion teaches us, because subhana Allah, all morals and ethics are found in the Quraan and sunnah, pple just tend to drift away and adopt other names which originally are in Islamic teachings, such as human rights and so forth.. women's rights, men, children parents society etc... all ways of living and human relations are all in there. But what can i say? People abandoned so many of it, and are even ignorant what is in the contect of Islamic teachings, if only people would truley know what beauty lies within this religion I'm sure many would not hesitate to embrace it. The more i get to know about Islam the more i feel grateful i am a muslim. Forgiveness, tolerance, care, love, patience, consideration for all other people regardless of their origins, so much to mention, all withing the folds of Beautiful Islam.

N.B. Please, no offense was intended in the previous comment, to you is your religion and to us is ours, with all due respect.

Islam encourages respect for all people.

Living away,
I missed u woman. I am so sorry i have not been around much lately, have so much to do and so little of time to do it!

listening to the good calls of the heart can sometimes be very difficult, but we must work hard to maintain it as best as we can. Some times we may get hurt, but at least we will know at the end of the day as we rest ourselves to sleep that if we do not wake up the next morning we have done the right thing. You know what i mean? :-)
